A look of awareness
In performing the Music Project: A Motivator Instrument in English Language Teaching for Critical Literacy and through the song “Earth” from Michael Jackson, we first thought that it would be very complicated because of the name .
In the course of the project, we realized it was actually an awareness of a pause to reflect whether we were really doing our part before the destruction of the environment or simply blaming others and accommodating.
The video clip of the music EARTH SONG, shocked us by the destruction which all Earth is going through, and we feel that we are watching it happening in silence in face of so many lack of awareness.
And on the other hand, we didn’t realize that we were seeing it in an English class through a song so beautiful, but at the same time with facts so sad.
The project activities were very good and we engage either that we didn’t feel time pass by, and we were sorry to have ended.
Thus, we have grown a lot and we are outraged too. Now we have a new look and also the will to scream
